Dag O. Hessen
Dag O. Hessen is professor in biology at University of Oslo.
He has for the past 5 years headed the Centre for Biogeochemistry of Anthropocene where different fields of the natural sciences cooperate for a better understanding of the carbon cycle and how it relates to climate change and loss of nature. As an evolutionary biologist he is also deeply interested in the human nature and cooperation both in humans and nature, and sustainability in a broad context. He has published a large number of scientific papers and also popular science books.
